Never pay by card on this app If you get the wrong products - recently most of the time - they don’t respond to the query I will stop using it all together

Set the app to update in the background??? It NEVER does. Anything time you need to use the app then you have to wait for the app to update. Great app for delivery, but backend updates drive me mad.

The selection of shops from supermarkets to health shops is great. Most of the time the products you see on the app are the once received. Complaints are handled professionally and in a timely manner.

ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. The whole lot of the consultants are useless. If there is any issue with your order don’t even bother calling the customer service. They are not just useless but also plain liars. I believe they are instructed to just bluntly lie to their customers in order to pretend that the issue is being dealt with but in reality they do absolutely nothing. I really don’t know why this app has such a high ranking. I wish I could give it ZERO

Very annoying having aed1 taken everytime you order. No one else does this. Update….and no one else sends me a OTP either. Just stop it.

This app is so bad, half the items are unavailable, order is always late, the customer service roles is to delay you until the order comes (not serve you), and somehow the shops have too much power over the app. When you give a tip in advance on the app, they know the customer service will not let you cancel and will delay you until your order arrives, so knowing this the delivery guy does what he wants. In my experience tip is advance leads to late delivery. The drivers are very comfortable with lying to you, the shop and customer service team. To the extend that the excuse you’ll get is that they are stuck in traffic, even when you can see the shop and road from your apartment window. Deliveroo Hop has less items, but they actually know how to run logistics company and serve their customers.

InstaShop enable shops who refuse to honour their listed offers. I have just had one supermarket (COOP) call to refuse to honour their listed special offer on an item and say I was going to be charged the full price but were checking in advance and not offering any alternative other than the full price. I explained how this was dishonest, they could have simply said it was out of stock and offered something else using the substitution system. However they then escalated to InstaShop who called and tried to pressure me into accepting the shop doing this dodgy dishonest behaviour. The lady on the phone got shirty and rude with me about refusing to accept this and interrupted me as if I was being unreasonable in expecting them to honour their listed price.

A useful app! Even if the retailers have not been great, InstaShop is really good at trying to rectify the situations and ensure that the same doesn’t happen again. They want to make sure that the retailers they have in board are reliable and that customers are satisfied. Really like IS!
