Breathing Zone FAQ
Is Breathing Zone free?
Yes, Breathing Zone is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Breathing Zone legit?
🤔 The Breathing Zone app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
At the time of this writing (29.04.2024) this app is currently free. It has the exact functionalities that I need to work on my breathing and concentration. It helps guide my meditations. It is minimalist. It does what it’s supposed to do without any intrusions, which is exactly what I most appreciate. If this app was to one day request a donation, I would gladly donate to the developers for their work. Currently on the App Store, there are far too many apps with in-app purchases and too many apps claiming to be free with intruding bloat.
Take cues from this developer and make more stuff like this.
Great app!
Great app! Very helpful & reliable!
So much better than default Apple Watch app
Really like the controls on this app. The Apple Mindfulness app seems to think you have the lung capacity of child.
Great breathing app
This breathing app allows me to stay focused on the breathing exercise better than my garmin watch which I use just as often (and love for its built-in breathing exercises). For me that’s great because after a few minutes of devoted effort I will feel my body begin to relax and get me into an ideal state for meditation/mindfulness training. For me this is a tool to prepare me for meditation. I like to mount my device into a free standing mini tripod (just a basic selfie-stick with small foldable legs) so that I’m free to breathe/move and have the screen in sight on its own stand while I’m sitting in a chair. It’s nice because you have visual guidance on the screen that’s very appealing and effortless to follow, and my favourite is pairing my device to my Bluetooth speaker and choosing the “singing bowls” sound effect which works as an excellent tool because now you have audible guidance in addition to visual guidance so you know exactly when to inhale and exhale! So that means I can grab a speaker and continue the breathing exercise despite not looking at the screen. But the visual is still very helpful for you to be more precise. The reason for 4 stars is because I use this app across multiple iOS devices (MacOS, iPhone XR, iPod Touch 6th gen) but it does not sync your settings across devices, so if I want to use my multiple devices each day to breathe, it doesn’t take into account the overall time I spent doing breathing exercises that day on each device. It’s like I’m a stranger on each new device. I’m sure this is an easy thing for them to fix because nowadays most apps tend to sync across devices which is convenient and time saving, and it’s expected to be honest. It only shows the amount of time you spent on the device itself, not overall/across devices. And I also have to change the settings (inhale/exhales times) across devices so it would be nice if I could just continue with the same settings across all my devices without having to grab my other device to see what the settings are that need to be changed. Thanks.
Simple and effective
Everything you need to breathe the cadence you desire
Simple and very helpful
Simple app that works as advertised. Very helpful., Despite having a prominent Help/Feedback button, it can take quite a while to receive developer’s feedback.
Complicated UX and lack of options
Was recommended to this app. Very disappointed for a paid-app to not have clear options for inhale, exhale and hold. The settings at "BPM" instead of seconds and both the low end of 2 bpm to max 9 bpm are very rushed. The 4-7-8 breath isn't to cue either. All around a garbage app.
Bien mais...
Belle application. Par contre, il est difficile de comprendre la programmation initiale. De plus, les sessions sur la montres ne sont pas calculés dans l’application Santé... bizarre. Il fait absolument utiliser l’application sur l’Iphone pour que la session soit calculée...
Fix this please!
Great app!
Easy to use, easy to do. No fuss. Thanks for creating this app!
Missing from Apple Watch
Hello, I bought this for use on my Apple Watch. The app isn’t appearing on the watch.
Update: How can the breathing rate be changed on the watch? I’ve set to 5.3 on the phone, but it is at 6 on the watch which is too fast. How can the chime breathing rate alert be turned off on the Apple Watch 3?
Thank you.
