On the iPhone, if you have fonts slightly larger than usual, the keyboard covers the signup screen and you have up signup without being able to see what you’re entering.
Also once you select the scanner you’re unable to change it because the connect screen covers the scanner selection.
Unable to use the app.
Please fix the issue with the digital garage not working properly (synchronization with the server and please check your internet connection). In addition, please fix the issue with the send file feature (it keeps showing that “the file hasn’t been created yet”
Update on my review of the Carly app and it’s customer service. As I have written before about my experience with the app, I want to mention it once again. The app that used to be a perfect solution for DIY car diagnostic, coding and so on for people who have never used any complicated softwares and other tools to make their car ownership more enjoyable and pleasant became an app to stay away from. Before (4~6 years ago), the customer service team was so focused on making sure that everything worked properly and answered all the questions correctly and precisely to make everything work properly to satisfy their customer needs. Now, Carly became more focused on making money on everything from raising their prices on their subscriptions, adding additional costs to their so called Smart Mechanic, and releasing the so called new OBDII Universal adapter. But the app itself is fully plugged with all kinds different bugs that haven’t been fixed for a couple of years (at least). All of my emails that I have sent them have never been resolved. I just keep getting a generic response from them that says that they will fix it but nothing has been resolved yet. Even my most recent email said that the issue was resolved and it is now working properly. I was so happy about it until I reinstalled the app (per their instructions), just to find out that nothing was fixed and everything is still full of bugs and lots of issues. Very disappointing to see that a great app that I have enjoyed for many years became another junk app to stay away from. My current subscription has been renewed just recently for another one year and if they don’t get everything sorted out by then, I will just unsubscribe and keep enjoying BimmerCode and BimmerLink apps that I have been using for years in addition to Carly. I even don’t understand why they release so many updates. Each new update is totally the same thing as the previous version of the update. I loved and enjoyed the Carly app since the first day I got an iPhone.
