Keep track of the foods recommended by Dr. Greger in his New York Times Bestselling book, How Not to Die, and now his new book, How Not to Diet.
The 21 Tweaks feature, based on How Not to Diet, also provides a weight tracker. The weight tracker can use HealthKit to either save manually entered weight values or to read weight data from HealthKit enabled scales.
In the years of research required to create the more than a thousand evidence-based videos on his website NutritionFacts.org, Michael Greger, M.D, FACLM, has arrived at a list of what he considers the most important foods to include in a healthy daily diet.
Dr. Greger’s Daily Dozen details the healthiest foods and how many servings of each we should try to check off every day. He explains his rationale in his book How Not to Die.
All his proceeds from his books, DVDs, and speaking engagements are all donated to charity.
NutritionFacts.org is a non-commercial, non-profit, science-based public service provided by Dr. Greger, providing free daily updates on the latest in nutrition research via bite-sized videos. He has nearly a thousand videos on every aspect of healthy eating, with new videos and articles uploaded every day.

Such a great resource!!
So thankful for the amazing work Dr. Greger is doing and the incredible amount of time and heart dedicated towards spreading accurate and empowering nutritional information. This app is clear and educational, and gives a great guideline for knowing when im giving my body the nutrients it needs and deserves. All the love.
It crashed!
After the upgrade it doesn’t work anymore. It won’t change to present day and all historical data disappeared. I’ve been using
the app for two years so it’s really disappointing.
Update. I downloaded it again to restart and now it’s stuck on 21 of december. It doesn’t store any other historical data and it’s one day behind on fresh data. (When pressing back to today it shows yesterdays date.) At least I can use it to tick of the daily dozen.
Maybe it wasn’t made to work with the latest Ipad Os 13.3?
Awesome Nutrition App 🌱
So happy to have this app. It helps me to get the right nutrition and servings every day. Michael Greger and Nutritionfacts.org are spreading information on the latest research on nutrition and saves lives by recommending plantbased foods

Bra app men ganska basic
Gillar appen! Hade satt en stjärna till om det fanns en sökfunktion. Det hade gjort det enklare att ticka för boxar baserat på vad man redan äter. Fler måttenheter t.ex dl hade också varit ett plus!

I have recently been acquainted with Dr Greger’s approach to nutrition and am very much looking forward to embark on this journey. I only understand the metric system and would really appreciate the possibility to choose between metric and imperial units in the app. I suspect this would be helpful to many more users. Thanks!
Enklaste och bästa appen
Enkel och bäst, gör det den ska på ett snyggt och proffsigt sätt, hjälper oss att enkelt få i oss det vi behöver för att må bra. Snyggt!!!

Great!
Evidence Based Nutrition
This is the best kind of prescription pad. If everyone followed these instructions the hospitals would be mostly empty.
One thing that could be improved: It would be better if you could check off a food item without everytime having to be sent to the information page first.
