Poor UI UX

Poor minimalism that doesn’t help user with nothing

Worst travel arrangement ever

I had high hopes for this app and pass, however they were quickly dashed. The entire process of using Eurail has been a nightmare from start to finish. From a lack of transparency to a lack of customer service, I have wasted so much money on this service. Do not get the pass, it is worse than useless and will actively cost you much more money than just buying tickets. I’ve traveled regularly and never had a travel experience as terrible as using Eurail. I’m so disappointed in what could’ve been a great product.

Not Even Remotely Helpful

At no point in using this app has it worked. Paid almost $500 for 10 day pass. Inaccurate or missing train info, QR code/passes haven’t worked at all. workers at train station even told me the passes won’t scan.

Essential updates without alerts

If you do not constantly check for updates you will find yourself unable to access your pass this is extremely important for if you do not make sure to update your app every other day you will risk the chance of being kicked off a train because you cannot access your pass and then potentially stranded unable to update because your in the middle of Europe with no service

Works fine, don’t see why everyone complains about it.

SCAM!

Do not purchase. You will never get to use the tickets to go where you want, as they only allow so many people with a pass to board.

Overall great app

Perfect to use if exploring Europe, but pay attention to what countries are and are not included. France is not included and messed up some things for us but this was on me. This app was amazing and every pass worked. When seat reservations are required the app made it pretty easy to get those reserved.

All over Europe people are swearing at their phones

Like any organization with a monopoly Eurail/Interail is lazy, complacent and bad … this app is really bad, incompetently design, complicated to use, with too many steps to do anything. Just awful. If you see someone furiously poking at their phone near a railway station - it’s probably this App - or maybe it’s Eurail’s even worse website… which is also terrible. It’s so bad as to make one wonder, who’s responsible for such poor systems at Eurorail - I strongly recommend hiring competent replacements

Don’t use Eurail!!! It’s a scam!!!

Got the Eurail pass for me and my partner for 4 days after watching a video recommending it. We’ve spent over $500 on top of it to get reserved seats. Now we’ve spent over $2000 because we got stuck in Belgium. Be aware if you use a travel day the day of you can’t undo it and if the train is fully booked you’re screwed. Our trains to London are fully booked for the next three days so here we are in Belgium. I messaged their customer service just to get a reply saying “but you turned your travel day on did you not? What’s the problem?” Problem is we weren’t warned and now we are missing our flight home! We just got engaged and this trip has turned out soo awful. Not to mention i reserved seats on our first trip and we were charged but no reservation was made. Customer service told us to just hope for the best and plead with the conductor.

Too complex

Cant log in, so have to put all the passports info manually again, which is a hazle if for multiple travelers. Also very complicated to search for trains. It asks you to select a time and then says no trains available. Why wouldn’t it just give the options and you can pick?
