I just wish it had half star ratings. 4,5 stars etc
This book is a whirlwind of emotions. It has a real resemblance with Cinderella but instead of working for her stepmother she’s slaving away for her aunt and cousins and goes to a ball to meet a prince. It starts fast but has some slow in between switch is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 but the ending took it from 3 stars to 4. Amazing twist and couldn’t wait to start the next book
An excellent way to keep track of read, and want to read books.
Amazing app, why was i just realizing this exists now?!
This app has been around for over a decade, and there’s still no dark mode? Please.
I miss the old version of the reading challenges, I liked seeing if I was on track for my reading goal this beta version doesn’t do that. This app is soooo good and I’ve had it for years and the old reading challenge looked better. I do like the achievements idea I just miss being able to see all the books I’ve read and whether or not I’m on track to reach my goal.
I have been using GoodReads to track my reading and find new books for over 10 years. In those 10 years the app has changed very little, if at all. It’s time for GoodReads to have a major update. Allowing users to rate books with half stars would be a good starting point! GoodReads feels so outdated.
This app is the most used book app, why are we still unable to leave half star reviews or categorize a book as a DNF?? This can’t be too much to ask!! Please please, help me out and add these two things! Sincerely, An Avid Reader
Goodreads always seemed a little dated (eg. not being able to rate using half stars/.25/.75) and now they finally give us an update and it ruins one of the only good things, the reading challenge. You can no longer see your friend’s challenges on one page or even know how many books you’ve fallen behind. They’re pushing pointless “challenges” that add nothing towards your own goals or interests but just pushing what Amazon wants you to read. Sad since I love Goodreads, but will be moving to StoryGraph since it’s obvious GR does not care about the consumer.
