HEARTMATH® SENSOR REQUIRED: This is the companion app to the Inner Balance sensor. This app requires any of the HeartMath Inner Balance sensors such as Bluetooth® or the Inner Balance Lightning sensor which connects to your phone and clips to your earlobe to measure your heart rhythms.

HOW TO CONNECT YOUR INNER BALANCE APP TO THE SENSOR
Inner Balance Bluetooth Sensor:
1. Clip the sensor to your earlobe and press the soft button on the sensor pod to activate a blue flashing light.
2. Open the Inner Balance app and press the “Start” arrow to make the app start scanning for the sensor.
3. Once you see your sensor ID number displayed and verify that it matches the number on the back side of the sensor pod, tap it to accept and wait 15-20 seconds for the device to calibrate and begin the first session.

Inner Balance Lightning Sensor:
1. Clip the sensor to your earlobe and press the soft button on the sensor pod to activate a blue flashing light.
2. Open the Inner Balance app and press the “Start” arrow to make the app start scanning for the sensor.
3. Once you see your sensor ID number displayed and verify that it matches the number on the back side of the sensor pod, tap it to accept and wait 15-20 seconds for the device to calibrate and begin the first session.

I have used HeartMath for app. 10 years now. It has made such a difference in my life. I look forward to the daily training, priming myself with love, care and appreciation - setting me of for a much more balanced day. I use it, together with meta cognitive therapy, with all my anxiety clients too. So grateful watching them get better both mentally and physically a lot quicker than before I introduced Heartmath.

Suggestions for developing Inner Balance

Great to see that this app is being updated - and here are a couple of suggestions for the next version: 1) It's good that there are several sessions screens to choose from; it would be better if they were costumerizable. For instance, I like the breathing lotus - but I would really like to be able to add time (spent in session), achievement and current coherence to that view. 2) Breath pacers that move with a velocity that is linear in time, and don't slow down at the extremes of the breathcycle are 'unfysiological' - and it is unpleasant to try to follow them. I'm talking about the little balls moving forward and backward; they should slow down at the extremes (as does in fact the lotus) 3) The way the jpurnal is implemented doesn't make much sense to me. What I would like to see is the ability to add my own notes directly to the session results, and also be able to see my notes to session on the review page. 4) Lastly, I would like to be able to export session data to e.g. excel BR Karsten
