Careem – rides, food & more

This app is a scam. You sign up for Careem Plus then there is no way to cancel it. It has the worst design, the Creem Plus is based on the city. So you can subscribe to sever Careem plus in each city. The only way to cancel is to select the specific city then cancel. This is the worst user experience. When you delete your account and select the reason is that you can’t cancel subscription. They don’t delete your account but you get logged out of the app and then send you in-app message saying “we can’t delete the account due to active subscription” this app is a joke.

I tried to add my debit card many times but i couldn’t What a service

I used the careem app to automatically pay bills monthly. This month I authorised them to proceed with paying my Du bill of 600AED. However they proceeded three days later to make another transaction (unothorized) and after reaching out to them several times. They answered after a week and offered me 10 AED in credits (laughable) and refused to refund me my money. Not a reliable super app if you ask me.

This is the worst company I’ve dealt with they don’t meet their clients requirements if I had to catch a flight I would have missed it because of their unrealistic system.

If you want your family to be safe, Please don’t use this application for you family. Vehicles are registered on different drivers, but a different driver will come to pick you up. They are committing frauds using applications and careem is treating this as a casual thing and will respond by just waiving your ride fee ( thinking people are so desperate, they will be happy if we just waive the fee). No response from them after the complaint. I would say they are equally responsible for the frauds due to their inability to take any actions against these drivers. Please don’t use it fro your family if you want them to be safe.
