careem provides good options of ride in the places where you don’t want to spend much time and energy negotiating the price with the taxi drivers, which can be tiresome and end up with not very convenient feelings. Yet, this app still have a hidden price that not show in the beginning of your booking. So if they fix this, like their competitors in many other countries then I will not give this app a 5 star.
Poorly designed app. Too many notifications with promotions and no setting option to select what notifications you want. Confirming again the one star review because of the constant nuisance notifications. Careem is spamming your phone number as well.
Your drivers cheats. And you end up paying for cancellation fee

I scheduled a pickup for the airport. Thank god I checked some hours before and it didn’t show a “scheduled”. I would have had waited and maybe lost my flight.
Not fair
Most unreliable food app order and delivery app. You order twice and they get cancelled either restaurant is closed or no captain available. Will not be using them again.
Whenever I order groceries I end up getting half of what I ordered and half wrong items…
Traveling in Egypt can be difficult for foreigners and we know that we often pay way too much for services such as taxi. Careem works like a charm and we pay fair fares just like the locals. Drivers are polite and with a bit of help from google translate we manage to communicate. I love Careem and will recommend it to other foreigners.
