Order placed 8:17 pm and app is showing food delivered after 4 hours at midnight . Firstly even after 4 hours did not receive any food. More importantly after more than 2 hours delay around 10:30pm I called and told customer service to cancel the order as I cannot eat so late because of acidity but they refused to cancel the order and to avoid any refund they assigned a new driver without my consent and against my instruction. I told them once again cancel the order and don't send driver but they completely disregard my several requests to cancel the delayed delivery and choose to impose a forced delivery on me ignoring that it's midnight already. Next day Morning I noticed app showing delivery at midnight but in reality no food received at all. It's such a shameless act to force customers to accept an order at midnight which was placed at 8:17 pm....almost 4 hours delay just to avoid giving a refund of AED 69.....cheap ethics

Worst experience ever in ma life

My previous taxi driver started swearing at me and made me fell very uncomfortable in front of my kids and started shouting and saying very rude things like “you’re wasting my time” “shut up” “stupid

All the time late…all the time problems…

I have booked an electric option from Deira To Barsha. My First captain were close with about 4 minutes to my pickup location. Tracking where he was on the app, He has been avoiding the route to my location and just keeps circling around. So i cancelled, and found another captain just to have the same issue as the first one and had to cancel and book another one. Such behaviors shouldnt be tolerated by careem. People are waiting for nothing.

They don’t refund back cancelled food orders (by the merchant). When asking for refund, they say after 24h they don’t do anything “but take it as a feedback”. What a joke!! That is literally called stealing people’s money. Where did my money went??

The driver is so good in driving

I am writing to express my disappointment with a couple of recent experiences I had with your service. Several trips , I was charged without a proper investigation into rides .When always I reached out with my complaint, the ticket was closed without any action . I value timely arrivals, especially during emergencies, and it seems that my concerns were not taken seriously. In last trip, the driver did not answer my calls, ignored your call center, and ultimately sent me a message stating that he would not be coming. I believe there are underlying issues with driver behavior that need to be addressed.

I hope they take action against drivers who falsely confirm reaching the location when they haven’t. Additionally, it’s unfair for customers to be charged when drivers cancel the ride. There’s also an issue with the refund process—the Careem employee mentioned that the amount is held until the ride is completed, but if the driver cancels, the held amount doesn’t get refunded to the bank promptly. I have complained about this issue many times, but no serious action has been taken.
