Goodreads: Book Reviews

Almost all books I’ve looked up is on here, saves me the annoyance of having to get info about books elsewhere online.

Its so hard trying to use it at night and its so bright, can we not get the opportunity to change its appearance with the next update?

I really would love if Goodreads got a dark mode so it wouldn’t be so harsh on my eyes at night. I also hate that I can’t correct an update if I entered in page numbers instead of percentage

Needs better browsing options for new books in different genres, but everything else is perfect.

What's the point in having the app when I can't do half the things I normally do when I'm in the laptop. I can't browse through the lists or genres. It's only limited to a few. The standard ones. What about the rest? I don't even read books from the standard genres! I like being able to track my books... Like how much I read and what I read and the app allows me to do that... But that's it. I have to go on the computer to search through lists to find potential books for reading, which I should her able to do on the app. You should get this fixed. Soon please. Really soon. It's annoying to have to search for books and record the books I've read separately.

I love my Goodreads app helps me to keep a better track of the books I've read and when I read them.

Best way to keep track of my reading. There are so many different things to do with this, you'll never get bored. Excellent for reviews or finding books by your favorite author. Anything reading wise is right here. Oh, and I love the scan feature (simple fun)

This app has been around for over a decade, and there’s still no dark mode? Please.

I miss the old version of the reading challenges, I liked seeing if I was on track for my reading goal this beta version doesn’t do that. This app is soooo good and I’ve had it for years and the old reading challenge looked better. I do like the achievements idea I just miss being able to see all the books I’ve read and whether or not I’m on track to reach my goal.

I have been using GoodReads to track my reading and find new books for over 10 years. In those 10 years the app has changed very little, if at all. It’s time for GoodReads to have a major update. Allowing users to rate books with half stars would be a good starting point! GoodReads feels so outdated.
