This is the first app that actually works! I have been a dieter all my life from Weighless to Banting (worked for a while but then I lose interest after a while). Lifesum makes losing weight easy and hassle free. I’m sold and have actually put a few of my friends onto the app

Awesome, just one thing missing

The one and only thing that I would add to this app is that you can share recipes that you load. If you are two people living in the same house eating the same recipes…. Either someone that you share a subscription with or someone that you are on a wellness journey/cooking with together.

Best Food Diary App

Lifesum is by far the best food diary app I have come across to date. I have struggled with bulimic behaviour in the past, and Lifesum has allowed me to realise that I don’t eat nearly as much as I think I do. I don’t feel guilty every time I eat, and when my calories are nearly up for the day and I want to fit in a dessert, it motivates me to exercise some of the calories away😂. Excellent app. * I’d love to try out the specific diets feature, but as a student, it’s an unnecessary expense at the moment. But even without the paid benefits, the app is wonderful!

Great app but dislike changes

I was very happy with the app and I was using the free version for quite some time. I then stopped and when I came back I realised that you can no longer adjust your daily calorie goal on the free version, something that you could have done previously. This is a quite a bad update as they expect you to eat 1200 calories per day if you want to lose weight and experts say that 1200 is a very unrealistic expectation of what keeps you filled in a day. Please bring back the adjustment to calories. Thank you.

Very happy that they allow you to choose dietary preferences (like vegan). I’m only using the free version at the moment but the app is so good I’m considering buying the premium in the future.

Comparability with other health and fitness apps

Love the app. Only improvement would be that it can connect/sync to Garmin Connect (an example but potentially other 3rd party health and fitness apps) in order to log data stored there (without always having to sync through the Apple Health).

App allows you to track your calorie intake which assists how much food you consume. Especially helpfull if you wanna loose wait! App also links to my Apple Watch Activity app which shows the amount of calories i burned through exercises! Very impressive! They must just add more preloaded meals to choose from since sometimes I have to select something close to what I consumed which is not that accurate. But other than that, it’s a fantastic app!! Well done to the developers.
