Great improvement for this update. But please consider to put a chapter button in info panel for the playing show (chapter should be part of show info)

Redesign is beautiful
The latest version feels responsive. The interface is simple.
The new version is simply unnecessary
I don’t know what the revamp does, except for rendering the app unusable
Cannot resume the last played track
The apps work well on iOS 16. However, after updating to iOS 17, I noticed that they cannot resume the last played track I downloaded. Additionally, the playback time sometimes resets.
Released beta as if stable
I loved overcast, but you released a beta as stable and it is bad. - Random pauses - Complete UI overhaul - great! But not so great for people like me listening podcasts while driving and can’t find a thing - Downloads slow - Dynamic Island missing And more… thinking of switching back to Apple Podcasts already. This is not right.
Since the update, this app is not working properly
Since the app update, there are hundreds of bugs. The app not syncs properly, there are too many bugs. Probably should test the app first, before making such an huge update.

New app update removes features
There was a complete rewirte and UI changes aside, features have been completely removed. Supported this app for a decade but seriously considered switching now. The update is obviously not ready for prime time based on reddit comments. Hope it moves fast enough to catch up to what it once was or I’ll be switching.
Better than Apple Podcasts
Apple Podcasts has been a laggy POS and then when I upgraded to the newest iOS it stopped working. Absolute junk. Overcast to the rescue! This app runs smooth as butter and everything works well on this app even the ads which advertise other podcasts, I actually found some new good podcasts this way! Highly recommended
