Nutzlose App
Versuche zu buchen, dann zur Zahlung, Fehler aufgetreten, versuche spaeter nochmal, dies geht jetzt schon seit mehreren Wochen so. Fahrkartenservice empfielt updating the app.
Meine app ist auf dem neuesten, genau wie mein phone.
Nicht nur eine nutzlose app, selbst der Kundendienst hat keine Ahnung.
Armes Deutschland
Very Limited.
Anything connected to the digital world in Germany is far behind many other places. Where are the other services like the Deutschland Ticket?
Problems
When you search for Bahn on your device the app does not show!
Also, inuimerabke confusing messages about late inning trains yet the poor phone layout on iPad is horribly confusing. Amazing timetable resource.
No ability to rebook missed connection.
I’m travelling europe and my train was delayed which will cause me to miss my connecting train. Unfortunately this app doesn’t provide me any way to manage this.
Confusing, over-complicated and not intuitive
Hidden controls everywhere - some icons that look decorative and even text are links to more information. Tiny numbers beside the train info is supposed to alert you to scroll the the bottom of the screen to find that your train will split in half and you are in the wrong section. And don't get me started on the last minute cancellations and rescheduling which the app is very slow in updating.
Poor / incomplete English version
Only basics are translated - incomplete
Worked well till it didn’t
Found this a very intuitive and straightforward app to plan and buy train tickets across Germany. But for the last 24 hours every time I have tried to pay for a ticket I get the following non-descript error message.
Why can’t they give just a little bit more information about what the problem is when they write these error messages?
A technical error has occurred. Please try again at a later time.
So good
App works poorly, reserved a ticket but cannot find the are to pay for it. Frustrating
Clunky and Bahn card issues
I purchased a Bahn Card and never received it at my address in 6 months of living there.
I had however downloaded the Bahn Card to my phone and when you click on view Bahn card it says it needs refreshed. So I pull down to refresh over and over. And it is still there. No prompts, guidance or anything.
If you simply view the Bahn card, it shows it as a big red card with the expiry date in 2022. So any normal person would think a) they’ve paid, so it’s valid b) it shows in my app and the expiry date is a year away, so is also valid.
We bought tickets at the 25% discount. I get asked to show the Bahn card, which I showed with the valid date on it. Then she scans it and says it’s not valid.
I was on a work call this whole time so had to hang up without telling my colleagues what was going on.
The lady was rude and yelling “schnell schnell”. They said they tried to send it to my address (which we checked and it is correct) and it got returned to sender. But they never ever contacted me to tell me this??? I have an email, they have my email. They also have the correct address, but say they couldn’t deliver.
She then charges me on the spot and asks for a credit card. It doesn’t take Comdirect credit card, so I have to end up using a foreign Amex and cop all the exchange fees. It’s an absolute joke.
Then we check and I have the payment receipt and DID pay for the Bahn Card.
I’m now dreading having to talk to DB customer service and try get this rectified. Stupid app, stupid company.... and rude staff.
Largely dysfunctional
An app that has largely dysfunctional integration with basic features of a transport apps such as buying tickets and creating accounts.
Very disappointed.
