Having previously owned both Bose and Sony noise reducing headphones I am able to compare the different products. The Momentum offers comparable sound quality but its connectivity is terrible - constantly dropping out, requiring resets and software reinstalls on multiple devices. For this reason I would not recommend buying this product.
When accessing connection manager the earbuds start saying “power on.. connected” and refreshing the screen over and over again. Used to work and was great, wish you could fix this.
App does not open anymore since last update to version 4.5. Congratulations 👍
The Sennheiser app allows managing all connected devices, the Momentum 3 support up to at least 2 connected devices at the same time. But then my problems begin, there is not a single day that does not suffer from connectivity failures, interruptions. Listening music from my PC or from my iPhone, Momentum 3 fails connectivity every single day. I’m listening to music from my PC, if I get a notification on iPhone, puff, fail connectivity from the PC. This problem is constantly. Please find a firmware solution for theses connectivity problems.
With the last version, I can no longer connect, it asks me to pair, I do, it connects and the. Kicks me off, and I am now in this loop. Connection via bluetooth is ok tho.
I’m using the app with the Sennheiser HD 450BT and the EQ and profiles functions are perfect. Although something I miss and find extremely helpful with a pair of earbus I own is a ANC control built-in the app where you can switch it on or off on your mobile rather than being limited to the buttons on the headset. That would make it perfect or at least a visual feedback if ANC is on or off. Nothing else to say the headphones are great as well as the costumization just missing that small feature.

Bad ANC
Such a good headphones with such a poor app for iOS. Still no updates available since iOS 13.2!! This is ridiculous. Unfortunately I’m moving to the WH-1000XM4.
Was nice to have a option to adjust the equalizer to a personal profile and maybe update the firmware of device should made the app more useful.
