Overpriced and false advertising

Almost every taxi becomes significantly more expensive than what’s in the app. The range would say €19-€28. With very little traffic it ends up as €35.

The people that made this app can’t think

I just landed in Paris. I have no roaming on my phone. I got an esim locally so it’s data only. There is no way to use their app. Guess I will use Bolt.

Prebooked 2 days in advance for a taxi to the airport. The ride was pretty quickly confirmed by a driver. Woke up in the morning to find no driver booked and after a dozen attempts to get a ride to the airport I finally gave up. I switched to Uber, paid a little more, and immediately got a ride. If you are booking rides to an airport with Freenow, you are going to have issues and may miss your flight.

Working, misleading, more expensive than Uber

I am from Canada and I read an interestingly positive review by another Canadian so downloaded it for a short trip in Rome. I searched the internet in advance and found “Uber is available but only Uber black which is more expensive “ then I thought I made a good choice. However I found the estimated price ranges were ALWAYS lower than the actual price I paid. E.g. my trip to FCO airport had a price range from 42 - 60 euro but I paid almost 70 euro. When I quote a ride, the app shows that intermediation cost is included but it is always extra. I later tried Uber anyway and found Uber is cheaper(except for airport ride). Don’t use this. Stick to Uber!

Waited 30 minutes, drivers cancelled and then got a cancellation fee charge

tried using your services today and I’m sorry to say I’m disappointed. Not only did 2 drivers cancelled the ride but also one of them kept going in circles and never got to pick us up. We waited for more than 30 minutes, trying to get a ride and decided to finally take a bus. I was surprised to see that now there is also a charge for the cancellation I did for the driver who kept us waiting and driving in circles. Really eh worst experience I’ve had in using a ride service with an app.

Deceptive extra costs

Deceptive app will charge extra €2.50/ride as an intermediation cost and will ask approval of new terms and conditions once installed. If you need a taxi you’re better off calling directly, it will be cheaper.

Makes travelling easy!

Being in a new city this app was a godsend for getting around Thessaloniki! I love that it charges my cc automatically and I don’t have worry about having currency for a tip - it’s all in the app. No issues!

Awesome

Used it in Rome and Paris. No need to master Italian for a phone call. Pay through app. In Italy there is no real Uber and in Paris taxis can use bus lanes while your Uber stuck in crazy Paris traffic, so this app is awesome.

Horrible

Used it three times in France, twice the driver just parked somewhere or drove around and waited for me to cancel. Absolutely useless. Don’t waste your time.
