Headout: Travel Experiences

I’ve had a terrible experience with Headout due to their misleading practices and shockingly poor customer service. My concerns about false advertising and mishandling of my case were ignored repeatedly. Every attempt to escalate my complaint was obstructed—I was never provided a reference number or proper updates on my issue. Instead of addressing the problem, they gave conflicting information and wasted weeks of my time. It’s clear they don’t value their customers or take accountability for their mistakes. If you’re considering using this app, be prepared for frustration and unprofessionalism. Avoid Headout if you can!

Very bad that you can’t cancel your ticket and can’t receive a refund. Do not recommend!

Very disappointing call center

I used this service to book a day at the San Diego zoo. I had made a mistake and booked the safari park. Totally my fault. I have no problem paying for processing fee or something along those lines. Because it was the same day I was unable to cancel or exchange. I literally called an hour after it was booked and the rep said there was nothing they can do. I understand it was my mistake, but it would be nice if there were more options than just “that’s our policy”.

Don’t buy from them. They work with third party to buy tickets and a lot of times those are scammers and Headout won’t give you the money back. We spend money traveling to Singapore, and paid for 4 attractions through Headout ( over $500) all scams and Headout did t do anything about it. The worse!

In the US, the weeks start on a Sunday. In the Headouts mobile app, the week starts on a Monday. So, I selected the wrong date! They refused to give me my money back, adding insult to injury because all we wanted to do was go to the zoo and literally could not go because we could not afford to buy a second set of tickets. The calendar is literally wrong. Customer service was useless.

They have an awesome customer service! It was easy to buy, great tours. I will definitely buy with them again and again !

I downloaded this app to make my travel in Europe easier when buying tickets for events and it did the complete opposite. I bought tickets but they never showed up on my app afterwards. I had to contact customer service and they had no idea what went wrong. They promised to email me back within 48 hours and nothing. I actually had to REBUY the tickets in person. Then I had to contact my bank to dispute the charges the app did. I had to do all this while on vacation. If you like wasting your time download this app please.

I used Headout to book tickets to an attraction. My tickets through the app showed an attraction open/close time that weren’t correct and therefore I missed my opportunity to use my tickets. Upon contacting customer service, I got the run around for two weeks before I got a response. Their response was that they can’t offer a refund which is absolutely ridiculous. I will not be using Headout again and I’d urge others to reconsider.

I downloaded this app on the 10/18/24 and never opened it, on 10/21/24 my card was charged $86.40 and I’ve yet to use this app…needless to say it won’t happen again!
