Headout: Travel Experiences

Bought “tickets” for the Eiffel Tower went through security and learned I had to collect the ticket before going in. Just bought tickets there and wrote off the money but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Don’t use this app, it’s awful.

Why anyone would engage a company whose tech is so utterly useless and user unfriendly is beyond me…..impossible to print from app and no other way to view ticket ……. An utter joke , mindless technology just for the sake of it

Booking a Vatican family ticket of three for €100, system did not mention that the tickets need to be collected outside of Vatican. No early reminder, did not mention “no late “ policy. We were 15 minutes late due to traffic and need to repurchase again of €70 without refund at all. Really really bad experience. Never use this app again. Waste money. Highly No recommend.

After purchasing a ticket for the cable car in Singapore thru the app ( only allows you purchase 1 ticket by the way which is stupid ) I then got an email from Headout requesting ID/passport and billing address and picture of my credit card ... after several emails and several contacts with on line chat support and several hours later I’ve had no joy . My partner booked her ticket first time no problem, she then went to book me a ticket and guess what she got the same email from me .... don’t waste your time with app life is too short to sending emails and being stuck waiting for emails whilst on holidays ......

This app is misleading and says "mobile tickets accepted". This is not always the case and they seemed to be aware of this when I contacted support. The emails from the company say "Stay Spontaneous" but it's hard to do when they are not honest with their listings. I don't always have my printer with me while feeling spontaneous. My recommendation is skipping this app and buying your tickets online.

I downloaded this app to make my travel in Europe easier when buying tickets for events and it did the complete opposite. I bought tickets but they never showed up on my app afterwards. I had to contact customer service and they had no idea what went wrong. They promised to email me back within 48 hours and nothing. I actually had to REBUY the tickets in person. Then I had to contact my bank to dispute the charges the app did. I had to do all this while on vacation. If you like wasting your time download this app please.

I used Headout to book tickets to an attraction. My tickets through the app showed an attraction open/close time that weren’t correct and therefore I missed my opportunity to use my tickets. Upon contacting customer service, I got the run around for two weeks before I got a response. Their response was that they can’t offer a refund which is absolutely ridiculous. I will not be using Headout again and I’d urge others to reconsider.

I downloaded this app on the 10/18/24 and never opened it, on 10/21/24 my card was charged $86.40 and I’ve yet to use this app…needless to say it won’t happen again!

Received my tickets and code for audio that I purchased for Acropolis tour. Audio code provided did not work. Contacted for help, was told they would reply in 24 hours. It’s been 3 days with no response. Tried to use chat feature for immediate help, this did not connect me to anyone. Had to do the tour with no audio guide as we had a set time and couldn’t change. Would not use again. Edit: It’s now been over a month and I finally got someone to reach out. They want to resolve the issue. Are you going to fly me back to Greece for another tour? Too little and FAR too late to respond.

This was the worst experience I’ve had with this type of app. There is NO support and the app misrepresents where you can and cannot Go.
