Great app and works as needed
Very convenient with a cool card. The only part to improve for now is possibly to set app theme different from the device. E.g., dark theme is hard to use and I can't change it unless changing it on the phone.

The app itself should get 5 stars. The banking itself 5 stars as well. Hands down! But try downgrading your paid membership to the Standard plan and you’ll experience one of the most frustrating downgrading experience ever. The amount of work they put you through is nuts! First of all, you can’t downgrade straight from the app. When you try to do that, an FAQ browser page opens up. There you need to locate a link to contact a support via chat, which takes you back to the app (face-palm). Then an old-fashioned logic-jump chatbot greets you and when you say that you want to cancel your membership, it gives you account options that doesn’t have your specific account type (in my case Smart plan). So then you need to ask for a human. Eventually, you get a human, but you have to explain everything to them again. In my case, i didn’t have a paired device, because you really don’t need it as in any other situation you can always verify with your pincode and/or linked mobile number. But of course, not in this case. When you want to cancel, that is the time the paired device is your only method of verification. So I go and pair my device. To do that, I was asked to close the current chat and i was assured that after pairing, i can open a new chat and continue where I left off. Obviously, when i closed the chat and opened it again, EVERYTHING STARTED ALL OVER AGAIN!!! So, I start another fight with the chatbot and when I finally got to a real human, the agent was naturally a different one and I had to explain EVERTHING AGAIN! You could think that at this point they finally downgrade my plan, but no. Of course not! They sent me an in-app message where I had to read their legal docs through and confirm by replying to that message. Then i got back to the chat and just before the downgrade, they still tried to get me back to Premium plan. I’m like what?! I would love to know their retention rates when you first put people go through so much. And guys, I’m not even deleting my account, I’m just downgrading! I don’t even wanna know what one have to go through to get an N26 account deleted. Jeez! Gotta say, that I was planning to downgrade my plan just for a couple of months, but after such a bad downgrading experience I can promise you that I will never, and I mean never, gonna upgrade my plan again. I’ve been using N26 for years, but it ends now. So, if the app and the banking wouldn’t be so great, I would rate you with 1 star. I know that this rant isn’t gonna make any d
This bank doesn’t support Finnish ID. I used to open my ID card to open banks here in Finland. But this bank doesn’t accept it. On video chat for ID verification they said you have to call us by phone number and ask what should I do because they doesn’t accept Finnish ID card. When I asked what number do I call. They just cancelled video call… and they don’t have any phone number on google. Very unprofessional bank. I don’t recommend to move any money to it. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Hi! I am trying to register, but at the last step the error appears “something went wrong..” I have already tried about ten times and every time an error crashes.
According the banks current verification procedures. I have left feedback but nothing has happened..
It says the best bank in Europe but doesn’t work in Finland hahaha 🤣🤣🤣
Face ID login fails a lot. If you disable and re-enable it, the login might work once before it starts failing again. Password - Face ID combo still works, but that makes the app far less convenient.
