Multiple strategies to reduce your screentime
1. Delay before opening your app: A bit of time before choosing if you need to open your distracting app. You can have the wait time increase each time you open your app.
2. Interrupt your scrolling: Check your distracting apps for short periods of time so you don't get sucked in.
3. Set an app goal and optionally block when you reach your limit.
4. Configurable for different days of the week and time by app.
5. Messages like "Is this important" before opening your app.
6. See your screen time for only your distracting apps. Don't worry about Google Maps bloating up your time.
7. Strict block your apps: Either for time ranges, after a certain number of opens or ScreenTime. Strict blocked apps can be hidden from the home screen.
8. Locks on Settings to prevent you from changing your settings when you want to open an app.
9. Breathing and other activities to encourage you not to need to open the app while waiting for it to unlock.
10. Streaks to encourage you not to exceed your limits or override your settings.

How much does ScreenZen cost?
ScreenZen has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is 292.33 Kč.
I would gladly pay for this app if it worked. Currently it's extremely buggy. I set limit for Safari for 10x 5 min a day, Spark 5x 5 min a day and Appstore 3x 5 min... And they all show 10 times opening limit and these limits count together. It's a total mess unfortunately.
Problems with locking app after time runs out
I love the app and even payed the support fee, but now i struggle with my set up. Specifically, screenzen doesnt always lock my app after 5 mins of use (which is what i set it to do). Sometimes it does, but i would say around 70% of time it doesnt and i have to open and close the screenzen app to force the lock. Which i obviously dont do and then i spend too much time on instagram… If this gets fixed, the app deserves 5 stars because it really is great, when it works.
Very helpful
This app helped me with my compulsive opening of Instagram. Very simple, easy to setup and effective!
Very Good
This is one of the only completely free social media blocking apps on the appstore. It is also very customizable.
Amazing app
I had a tendency to check my phone quite often and it was disturbing my work day and my life in general. Since using ScreenZen I hate to check my phone because it takes too long to open the social media and then it’s unlocked only for two minutes. So dump scrolling doesn’t make any sense. So I use social media only if I really have to. Amazing app
amazing app
ive tried so many apps to limit my screen time but this is the first one that actually works and is for free so thank you so much!!
This is the app I allways wanted
I allways wanted to find app that somehow controls my usage of phone. And this app does it and it is for free. For me this is absolutely great app. If you want to help developers, you can do it with donation which I find great, because I think it’s still better to donate 20$ once than pay for really overpriced subscription as in other apps.
I would 100% recommend this app to a friend.
no trackers, no SaaS and just works.
gets the job done. has some usability issues and bugs but i dont use any features other than the app blocking, which works fine.
Wow
Really cool app 🤩
Lifesaver! (literally)
This app has helped me a ton for my social media detox, and general phone addiction - I spend much less time on my phone now. Thank you so much!
