First use:
You need to pair your hearing aids with this app to use it to control your hearing aids.
App availability:
The app is compatible with most hearing aid models. If you have hearing aids from 2016-2018 and haven't updated them yet, a hearing aid update is required for this app to work. We recommend regular hearing aid updates during your routine check-up with your hearing care professional.

Oticon Companion FAQ
Is Oticon Companion free?
Yes, Oticon Companion is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Oticon Companion legit?
⚠️ The Oticon Companion app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
I have to constantly re-pair when changing from general to tv streaming (using a streaming box which works well) opening and closing battery case, checking all devices are off blue tooth. The only way to sort many problems is to keep deleting the app and re installing. So frustrating for me (75 and pretty good with tech).
Failed app
Successfully used this app once and the next time I tried to change programme it did not allow me to do so. In addition it shows that the LH aid is disconnected dispute this being demonstrably not the case.
DO NOT USE
These IDIOTS couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery.
Unreliable
Recently fitted with Oticon Intent which are fantastic aids. But the app is hopelessly unreliable. It works for a few hours, then only one ear connects , then neither - no explanation . Next day doesn’t work at all . The app on iPad works differently to the app on iPhone. But also it does not consistently link to both ears . A really great disappointment and need to improve it’s reliability.
Slow
Slow to connect to my engage aids. Also if I set a volume level then each time I power on my aids , I have to run the app and set them again. Why is the setting not retained ??
Persistent connection problems.
I downloaded this app two weeks ago and have had to delete it and re-download numerous times. My left hearing aid shows as disconnected, which it isn’t, and I cannot access the programmes. Don’t tell me to click quickly on side button. I am 85 and have arthritic fingers. No Stars! Apparently I have to give a star rating.
Me
Dear Mr Developer.
He is a thought. Do a video of you pairing the app to aids and them working.
Put it on youtube and publish the link on your app site!
Hearing aids not connecting
The heating aids often won't connect to the app. It says reconnecting and does nothing. I've tried restarting my hearing aids and phone and sometimes this works, sometimes just restarting my hearing aids. Can you please address this problem. Many thanks
Unreliable connecting
Same complaints as the many other comments here. It’s a real pain getting the hearing aids to connect to my iPhone. They used to connect automatically without me having to do anything. Now I’m back and forth between the app and Settings, turning the hearing aids on and off before they eventually connect.
It didn’t used to be like this. Not sure if it’s an update to the app or iPhone OS which is causing the problems, but something has changed for the worse.
Customer service
I emailed with a problem on a weekend, got a reply with the solution the next day. Delighted
