Wolt Delivery: Food and more

I don’t know who Wilt is hiring for their programming team, but they are obviously low talent. Delivery driver waits with my food at a bar, obviously not my house. I don’t know how this could be acceptable, definitely does not happen with other delivery services. Either your gps algorithm is dead wrong or your drivers don’t care, both serious issues.

User interface not as fluid and straightforward. Location logic seems to skew towards one direction on the map vs a more circumferential view on available restaurants (comparing with Uber eats). Significantly more restaurants show unavailable on Wolt+ than on Uber eats same location. Uber eats One has consistently terrible customer service and thus trying out Wolt+. App and restaurant subscriptions needs some work for Tokyo Area

Great app and quick delivery

I suggest you try any competitor over this app. They are consistently late with deliveries compared to their estimates sometimes more than an hour late which was higher than the original total delivery time. If you see the delivery estimate has changed and it’s no longer arriving at a time where you can eat it (we have a toddler and a baby, if the foods an hour late I have to make them dinner instead), they do not allow any cancellations of orders. Not only do they not allow cancellations but their support team sometimes takes 45 minutes to respond and even when we had this terrible experience where the food was so late we had to make our dinner, they only offered a 30% refund. The service completely missed the purpose… with any other app I use to deliver food they would have refunded or allowed a cancellation in this case. They consistently show they prioritize profit over customer experience so we will no longer use them.

Wolt+ was a great subscription and I made several orders that were delivered promptly and with everything in order. On my fourth order the delivery ordered missing drinks and the food had been tampered with. When I sought reimbursement with photo evidence they offered 70 SEK as compensation. Customer service also detailed that they cannot guarantee that delivery drivers will not tamper with your food. Use another service if you have the choice and don’t make the same mistake I did.

Everytime my order is delayed by over 30mins the customer service button return an out of order message

I can’t create an account because the phone number I have was registered to someone else. So it won’t even try sending a reset sms code and apparently email is not enough. With no way to contact support with in the app without being phone verified the app is useless.

I’m not sure what the issues are, but I’ve ordered well over 70 times, and out of the 70 orders, only one went stress free/ normal. As in my order was delivered without needing to call support or deal with an angry courier. Here is how a (non Wolt) delivery has been the past 25 years for me: Place order, pay for order, someone knocks on the door with order, tip only after order is delivered (never had to tip before order has been delivered), order is finished and the day continues as normal. Here is how (Wolt has worked for me 99.9% of the time): Put in exact address, enable precise location, place order, get a phone call from courier (I’ve never had a courier call ny phone before using wolt, not in 25+ years), courier gets lost, courier eventually finds the address after lengthy chat with wolt support, courier shows up angry as if I did something wrong. Get delivery, items missing or replaced, and have to chat with support even after the order is delivered. It’s been like this basically every time I’ve had to order. Something seriously needs to change, they need to address and update software or the mapping system or gps needs to be fixed. This is a horrible app/ service that I only use if i absolutely have to.
