I don’t like the usability of this new format. And now my wish & shopping lists are unusable as they’re constantly flashing on and off. Reinstalling the app did nothing. Have to use the web browser to see the lists.
Why is the list algorithm shuffling? When I favorite something and want to go back to see what I just favorited, I can’t, because the list has shuffled, and who knows where my latest favorites are, its RIDICULOUS!! It makes purchasing something VERY irritating because I can’t then see the comparisons that i favorited of said item. Absolutely AGGRAVATING!!
New wrinkle:11-19-24 After the latest update when I try to view my wishlist on the Apple Amazon app, the page loads, then reload, then reloads, then reloads over and over again and does not stop. I have the app on my android phone and it does not do that. same thing on the android app. The latest update for Apple iPad is very difficult and time-consuming to navigate. When searching for an item, it puts the item full screen, and you must scroll and scroll, and scroll to find the information about the item that you’re looking at instead of it being mostly all on the first page that came up on the older version. Granted it was smaller print but the basic information was all on your screen at the same time. If the item has several variations as to color design, size or gigabytes per se, it takes even longer to check out the different options and prices and availability. Trying to find out how the product was reviewed is also more time consuming and takes even more scrolling. Overall I totally dislike, the new update. I wish there was an option to go back to the original version. I’m sure that’s not a possibility. A side note, that may or may not be connected to the latest update, I have noticed when searching for information on a specific item if the vendor has a video of its product, it will not play. It gives an error that there’s a problem and the code number CS2.
I’m not sure if it’s the third-party sellers with their bad-quality products or Amazon itself, but my experience has been frustrating. The third-party sellers have terrible customer service, especially with returns and communication. To make matters worse, Amazon’s customer service was even more disappointing. I called, provided my name, and the person on the other end simply muted the phone or stopped talking for five whole minutes despite me saying “hello” repeatedly. Overall, I haven’t had the best experience with this app, especially when trying to delete my account. It’s been more hassle than it’s worth.
Drivers are so mean they do wave back
This app is terrible, when I go to my lists it keeps flashing, make in it impossible to read

There was some technical error and I was charged twice for the same order with another one for the same amount pending. The person with customer service did try to help but it didn’t get very far. After talking to them for an hour I finally was able to be told I’ll get a refund within 7-10 business days. This is very inconvenient. It was also very hard to reach customer support because if it’s not one of the issues listed on their apps customer support theres no way you can email them directly or send images of the problem. Will not be using Amazon again and recommend no one else does either because they are very unhelpful. And they don’t even have the decency to offer some form of compensation after making an error then having me waste over an hour talking to them.
