Is ASOS free?
Yes, ASOS is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is ASOS legit?

I love ASOS get so many compliments on the things i buy from here, the only downside is the customs and if you ever have to return, getting the customs fee back is not possible because there is no trace of it by canada post . But LOVE the sales and the ca15 coupon helps
Canadian Shoppers Be Aware
Although their policy online states “Orders under CAD $150 and are not subject to customs duties, buy may still be subject to sales tax and handling fees.”
You in fact can and still will be charged import fees on orders below $150. When reaching out for clarification you will be directed to a chatbox and will be told that this is not an issue with ASOS rather your countries border and import policies.
Please be aware that although they clearly advertise no import fees below $150 they do not control this nor do they have any means to support this and you should be prepared for an additional fee.
Sincerely $51 import fees on a $115 order.
Bad experience / Poor customer service
Hidden fees… expect to pay more than what they say (even if the promise « no charges » for certain amounts).
Bad customer service : website said to contact them for a refund. I did. Was welcomed with a « I can understand this is difficult » and then they sent me away.

Worst customer service!!
I will never ever waste my time shopping from asos again. Their customer service is an absolute disgrace. It's like they don't even know what they're doing. And don't even get me started on their app - it's a complete disaster. Avoid the headache of dealing with their terrible customer service. Zara and H&M are lightyears ahead in comparison.
Worst experience
I ordered some items that cost around $90 and they ask me to pay $110 customs duty on top of that. I ordered first time from Asos and its the worst experience ever.
