Couchsurfing Travel App

I’ve been traveling as a solo traveler for around 8 years before Covid-19, just got to know about the couch surfing when I was preparing for my trip to Iran and the lesser Caucasus region and the Iranian people were very friendly to the couch surfers which makes me feel like 👍 as their communication apps are not really connected to the “ other world 🤡”!!! Anyone could tell me how to navigate into the couch surfing activities, please !!!

I paid 52€ for a “lifetime verification” to Couchsurfing. After less that two weeks, without any notice or communication, Couchsurfing agents have decided to De-Activate my profile. I’m gay and I don’t make any mystery that socializing has its twists : meeting gay guys is not my primary goals (many apps are much more targeted), but I’d rather meet travelers who are LGBT-tolerant or friendly. Anyhow, my account has been deactivated with no communication or prior-notice. A robot sends me always the same laconic “violation of Couchsurfing guidelines” message. There is ZERO human interaction. Zero customer services. The so-called hotline in the US ( +1 415 404 6611) phonenumber is an EMPTY SHELL. Couchsurfing phones and e-mails are all invalid. I feel I got ripped off for 52€. All the communications and contacts for my past and future trips. All my personal photos, House home address and information collected by Couchsurfing are now out of my control. It’s a ripoff and an usurpation of personal data. Avoid this Application which integrity and professionalism are really shady. I’ll probably sue them if my 52€ aren’t reimbursed and all my personal data safely deleted by a reliable party

This is an amazing experience being able to connect with people not because of money but purely because if giving. What greater app has this function? Let's think about It. I love you Couchsurf for the spirit!
