Give your tutors a higher percentage!
I thought my teacher was a greedy person until now. I didn’t know that this goddamn app took a higher percentage than their tutors and that’s why we have to charge so much money.
The payment system is dumb
I applied promo code but they still charged me full price 😊
Lossing balance
my balance automatically gets lost after a month without noticng anything. apple has a policy to protect users making sure the system save what user had paid for. Preply took it away without permission. always is AI chat. kind of stupid suppporting
Cannot get refund for lessons cancelled by tutor
The refund policy makes no sense. The T&C does not protect its users in case that the lessons are cancelled not at the user's discretion and the users cannot get the refund in such case. The teacher got some family issues and had to cancel the lesson, which I believe is fine. However, I could not get the lesson as planned and I cannot get a refund either. The customer service team did a very poor job and the policy is not transparent!

I lost hundreds of dollars because they automatically charge without asking

The App is so bad. And the policy does not protect the customers
A scam system
The way preply did not send any receipt on automatically payment was made me lose more than $1500.
Bad servicr
The tutor was usually absent but we reported without any support from them. Never get back.
