Preply: Language Lessons

I have a super tutor, love it. The only negative is pay once per month and you have to scedule the sessions for weeks. I personally downgraded and then just buying extra sessions when i want to.

By default, Preply has the “automatic refill” turned on. After you buy 1 class, they force you to buy 5 at once. After doing so, when I had only 1 class left, Preply charged me $250 automatically because I hadn’t turned the auto refill feature off (you get no warnings on this). Seems a bit abusive, to say the least.

So very woth the time and money!! Would give 6 stars!

This is my favorite app to use! I love all my tutors that I met with! They’ve taught me a lot! If you’re reading this, you should definitely download this app if you want to learn a language.

Through Preply I was able to connect with an amazing tutor for a very reasonable price. I take lessons almost every week and appreciate the ease and opportunity to improve my Spanish. My tutor is excellent and I wouldn’t have found her without Preply. I highly recommend giving it a try.

It is easy to use. Pricing is transparent. Good quality of teachers.

There is a pause max of 20 days and a pause limit of 1 time in a row. No consecutive pauses. This is so inconvenient, life happens and we should be able to pause for the time we need. I paused one time because things kept coming up for either me or my teacher, then my teacher took the month of December off of work so I again couldn’t use the classes that were already backlogged. Now I cannot pause a second time when I really need to because I have so many classes in the bank. This is ridiculously inconvenient and I feel like I’m being forced to pay for a service that I cannot use at such a high frequency.
