Rentalcars.com alquiler coches

When you open your bookings, you regularly see "something went wrong". When you choose a city pickup, you get the cars based in the airport outside the city. Need to add extra filters to find what you need. The distance from the centre is usually shown incorrectly (15 km instead of 1-5 is confusing. Example - Valencia, Spain). Also there’s always a conflict between rentalcars insurance and rental company insurance, sometimes you have to pay twice and rentalcars won’t return you anything.

Pésima gestión de cuentas de usuario. Lentitud al recuperar reservas. Errores en el proceso de pago. Imposibilidad de hacer cambios (te pide el código postal y no lo puedes introducir nunca). Te dan códigos de descuento que no se pueden usar…

Unos sin vergüenzas: (Después de más de un mes)dicen que esperes unos días para la devolución de la fianza, no te lo ingresan y cuando lo reclamas te piden hasta tus movimientos de banco, una verdadera estafa, si queréis perder dinero y tiempo estás en el lugar indicado, no contratare mas rentalcars ni recomendare a nadie

It used to be a good app and good service but lately is no more. First of all, there is a redirection to input the payment details every time. Secondly I filed a case with the customer service and nobody got back to me not even with an email saying they are on it. Today I got charged on the credit card from a rental service without warning so I called them, they asked me the reservation number and I was not able to provide it to them as the past booking in the app would not load. I don’t know what happened but it’s no longer an app I trust.

Agilidad y resolución

Had to pay extra 50€ for the coverage because Rentalcars didn’t make absolutely clear that the coverage that I purchased had anything to do with the company I rent the car from. Besides, as the company’s employee told the Rentalcars coverage doesn’t cover scratches or any other damage that doesn’t have police coming to give an official statement. Shame.

The prices arranged by the app are mostly fake. Car rental companies will always charge you extra fees at the pickup or - even worse - when you return the car. On my recent experiences with Hertz and Thrifty the full amount that I paid in advance in the app was shown as a "discount voucher" at the real invoice by the company. It barely covered half of the total rental price that I was finally charged for.
