SCAM ALERT The airport I have to pick up the car was closed because they have aircraft accident . My fly land on the closer airport and I call the counter on the reservation city, they say they will close in one hour. But , they would give to me the car on the city I was if RENTALCARS.COM move the reservation to the location I was . I call RENTALCARS.COM to move the reservation and after 5 hours back and forth they just want to take my money. FINALLY THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND MY TIME … I will rent DIRECTLY with no SCAM intermediary

They price published on this website are not real. You will only know the final price when you go to the agency to get the car, so there is no way you will get a refund. I rented a car in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, at 100USD via the application and it finally cost me 300USD. I presented all the documentation requested by this website but they still charged me for an additional insurance that cost 2 times the cost of the rental. How come this cost was not included in the price showed in the application? I cannot believe that there is people that do that and can sleep at night. I am lucky because my brother lend me the difference so as I do not have to cancel my trip (including hotel reservations) but what about if I did not have the money to cover the HIDDEN cost of the insurance?

It’s a bad decision to rent cars using this internet company because if you need to cancel they will try to penalize you although the ad is saying FREE CANCELLATION. Please rent directly with each rental car company to avoid loosing money and eliminate the stress to recover your paid money. I am still fighting my booking because I cancelled when I visited the rental car office, but rental cars is saying it’s A NO SHOW… unfair and pure bad business practice.

Had an issue trying to modify a booking. Was told to call in. Was directed to make a new booking and was told that I would be charged a penalty on the first booking. Definitely a language Issue with the call Center. Not happy with the service at all. I would not recommend!

ALFONSO at the Ace Care Rental counter Fort Lauderdale airport is a very personable attendant to deal with. He looked at to me for my car rental. October 2 to October 17, 2022. I was so happy with his service that I just booked another car rental, particularly looking for Ace at Fort Lauderdale airport, from November 1 to November 24th 2022. I would be looking forward to seeing him at the car rental counter upon my arrival.

Information in their systems are not correct. They made mistakes and they will not admit to refund me ! Horrible service ! Avoid !
