Rentalcars.com - Car hire App

Extremely bad experience. Rentalcars confirmed my booking, charged money, but apparently car rental company did not have any available cars even though my booking was confirmed by rentalcars. I had to call customer service for any solution but they did not offer any other solution just refund in 7 days. By the time none other rental companies had any available cars so i got stuck at the airport without any options to get any car just because of rentalcars fake booking confirmation. Avoid this app!

I totally agree with all the negative reviews written here. In the order, it was stated that the pick-up and drop-off of the car is at the airport, but the woman who met us took us to pick up the car about 10 minutes to a completely different place. When we asked why they are deceiving us, the staff claimed that their office is located on the territory of the airport and that there is no deception. Later, they offered us insurance for €700, and since we didn't want insurance, as we have insured the trip together with the rental car in our country, they demanded a €2,500 deposit. When I asked how long the deposit would be returned, the guy who served me simply said that he didn't know. And the deposit is supposed to be intended, if after returning the car they find damages, they will be deducted from the deposit to repair them. So we filmed everything before picking up the car. I can only confirm that this company is 100% scammers, because they also demanded a deposit or insurance for the repair of the car from the people who rented the car before, but this was not supported, because the Suzuki handed over to us had many damages in the body, the rear passenger door behind the driver it doesn't lock when opened, which is very annoying because we often stop at places of interest on our trip and I constantly use the door to take out my backpack. The door always hits me. Also, the car's Bluetooth connection is something incomprehensible - every time the car is turned off and on, the synchronization with the phone stops and the configuration needs to be done again. In conclusion, I can say that the country is amazing and there are many beautiful views, but we experienced a lot of unpleasant emotions because of this scam company. It is disappointing that such degraded individuals are tarnishing the image of such a great country in this way. I will write about it on all possible sites wherever possible.

the car company didnt accet my card for deposit, and rentalcars doesnt want to refund my booking, so i paid but didnt get the car

UI is nice untill you want to cancel! This does not work and phone numbers is app do not work:). They are outdated. You get the car which is not what was offered, has 80k, smells supper bad, wipers do not work, breaks squeal - and cancel booking or call rentalcars does not work :). Spits out error. My suggestion - look for car using app but book direct. Much more options when you pick up the car direct from renting company.
