Good offer and choice BUT
It is a unique app which serves tuition at affordable prices thanks for that. But there are some serious concerns as follows: 1- why should I forcefully and automatically resubscribe each time. I want to subscribe by choice, and by myself and click pay each time without the auto deduction which I didn’t permitX I don’t think you have the right to automatically charge me each month… Instead you can send me a link to accept continuing the subscription or renewing it. I’m taking classes for friends and family, and not everyone is available to resubscribe automatically. We want to choose when we renew the subscription and we want to choose single classes for travel, for exams not necessarily following your forceful monthly subscription. Please review this 2- Yoir choice of teachers for kids, (I don’t mean adults here) I mean having teachers opt in the language for kids section and the auto enrollment without you checking their background or have audits is a total disaster. We trust preply with children and expect a monitor somehow. I had one incidence with an African French teacher last year who with two children closed his video and started doing something else in the background during the hours. He has ruined their appetite to learn the language totally because of the attitude and less monitoring and pedagogical support. I can’t believe this. Please note that This is a sacred mission and not every teacher deserves to be with children specifically. With adults no problem but be very careful with children and restrict this option for experiences personnel who can prove it. 3- I heard some complaints that you don’t pay the teachers for successful trial lessons. This made me real sad to book with new teachers and try them knowing that they won’t get the fee for the trial lesson. Sometimes I just wish to try a language not a teacher and your system oppresses these teachers if what they say is true. I loved the app before knowing this and now I’m very hesitant to try and learn new languages for this reason. Pay the teachers if we clicked successful or gave 5 stars. I had a Filipina teacher who I used for a trial, I wanted to subscribe after 2 months, but unfortunately she left preply. I tried to reach out to preply but no one helped me giving her contact. I don’t know why she disappeared but I believe it could be due to the trial lessons not being paid as I heard. 4- further to the previous, have options for single lessons without subscription, and give flexibili
