I first used STRNG in 2023, it was okay - I didn’t love it, I didn’t hate it. Went to another app for 2024 and for 2025 I thought I’ll come back to STRNG. I follow both owners on social media and saw they made some updates. I bought it this morning and regret everything. I wish I could get a refund. The fact you can’t swap out an exercise with something you want to do, or add extra exercises is quite annoying. Having the workout demonstrated against an all white background makes it look like AI. Still a clunky app. Better apps out there.

Unfortunately, it’s disappointing to say that this app has not improved over the year at all – if anything, it has gotten worse. It’s incredibly glitchy, especially when trying to use it during a workout at the gym. The app constantly stops, starts, glitches, and then restarts the workout from the beginning, leaving you standing around feeling frustrated and looking like an idiot constantly playing with your phone because the app just won’t work properly. It frequently freezes and asks you to log in again, only to claim that your membership and email are non-existent. Dealing with these issues mid-workout, while repeatedly trying to restore the app or get back into to finish your workout is beyond frustrating. Leaving the app unreliable. For an app that’s supposed to enhance your gym experience, it’s doing the exact opposite.

What can I say, the app is riddled with bugs I can’t use any other music apps while using this app. It constantly crashes and doesn’t save my workouts even when I wait 1 hour after the workout for it to upload. Workouts are far too long and it doesn’t matter how much feedback you submit the owners / developers literally do not listen unless you’re a fit-fluencer. I’ve been wanting my money back and they won’t refund me so I can go buy a better workout app. DO NOT PURCHASE ALL THE 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE PAID AND FAKE!!!!

I absolutely love this app. I rave about it to everyone. It saves me so much time not having to plan my work outs. The options to switch my workouts around depending on how much time I have or to just switch a single exercise out in my routine because I’m not feeling it or if injury occurs. There are so many options, I first started with homework workouts and have now progressed to the gym. Top rated app and very good value. Love love love it

Great concept but app is super glitchy and often results in lost data. Won’t let you skip exercises - will glitch and take you back to it. When swapping exercises you can’t just choose your own, you can only pick from what’s in against that exercise as a swap. Sometimes just closes and loses all data from that session … so good concept but can be frustrating…

I am sad to have to write this review but since the start of the year I have been very patient with the team. I paid for their annual plan but it all started from my loss in history (my weights were not saved). This has been ongoing issue. Then I noticed my plan for the upcoming week is the same as the current, but so were the rest of the weeks. I reached out to them and said it will be passed on to the dev. 1 month later there was nothing resolved, nor did they even try to fix it week by week. I am disappointed because if they can offer a yearly plan then we can all assume that everything has been planned ahead or should be running smoothly. Absolutely love the trainers, but very upset with how the app has been.

The content and workouts are pretty good. However the app is glitchy and inflexible when trying to switch between workouts. The worst part is the customer service - good luck trying to cancel your subscription. It takes up to 48 hours to cancel the subscription and on a 7-day free trial, you’d have to cancel by day 5. Customer service is appalling.

Love the workouts and trainers but I have had nothing but problems with the app. SO many glitches and when I contact them it takes over 2 weeks to get back and no improvements. I won’t be renewing. They should invest in getting the app right before getting anymore trainers.

I have just completed my 14 day trial and was not happy with the app so emailed them many times to tell them I did not want to take up the yearly membership. I only heard back from them once! Today the money was taken from my account even after saying I didn’t want the app. Very bad business approach. I have emailed them again but will probably not get a response. Now I will have to fight to try and get my money back. Very unhappy with this company. Don’t buy the app!

The new update has been frustrating - I keep getting asked to subscribe even though my subscription is still active. You can’t swap exercises during the workout without losing resetting the time.
