Removed the ability to pay with card
It used to be possible to pay directly by card, now you have to top up your Careem Pay wallet. Bad UX. It’s also not clearly displaying it when booking a ride, it mentions cash instead of Careem Pay

Bonjour Quand je mets mon numéro de gsm je n’arrive pas à poursuivre. Quand je veux me connecter avec mon facebook ou apple ID sa me dis qu’il y a un soucis. Que dois-je faire?
Not always fair and honest
I have been using the app for 1 year now and I have noticed they often deduct more money than you realize. Sometimes I get “outstanding payments” with no reason. If you do not have sufficient balance in your wallet, you pay the full fare for a ride instead of paying the outstanding amount for the ride. The system has lots of glitches. Always keep your eye on your careem wallet and expenses! Also, if they make a mistake, they reimburse the money in your wallet instead of sending it back to your bank account. Difficult to get in touch and contact the careem client service.
