iOS live activities are great
The live activity for food delivery and ride is great. Very welcomed. Thanks. Now I would prefer to get less messages. Some of them are not relevant others are redundant: - x amount is currently on hold: not interesting and redundant - your visa has been charged: redundant, my bank application also sends this information, I don’t need it from grab. (Option to opt out pls) - you earned x points..: I don’t care it as a notification. I use points but every time pushing to my face.. spam. - in the kitchen: redundant, and no action required. Live activity reports the status and this status change is a no action so I don’t have to do anything so please remove it. The only interesting message when my driver is 5-10 minutes away. In that case a notification can be informative because it raises attention, or can just be a sound without actual notification element on the Lock Screen though, the sound raises attention and the live activity will show the state anyway. Everything else feels a waste of users time tbh. Key principle: “cleaned up” Thank you for your consideration. 🙏
Notification spam
Even after turning off all marketing communications in settings, I get at least one spam notification every day (in Vietnamese, which I cannot read). Please fix this.
Perfect , predictable, fast , easy
I use it in Thailand , and I can say that it’s perfect. Whenever , where ever I want to go , it can find me in 5-8 mins a ride and it’s way cheaper than a taxi and the price is predictable because you have to pay that price what the app already showed to you in the beginning. It doesn’t matter which way your ride goes but you have to pay anyway the price what was said. Thanks for the app, excellent!
