Terrible costumer service. They failed to deliver me any printed edition, although I paid for. And they refused to refund me!! Moreover, when I compliant, they said they will give me a discount if I subscribe for one year. They are trying to even sell me more, and get more profits from me by using my problem!
I have been an avid reader for more than 20 years from paper back to digital, but I have finally cancelled my subscription as the quality has drastically gonna down and more importantly the paper is clearly is not neutral nor independent….I used to very much enjoy the economic and business sections however it is clear that their focus in the last few years have been political lobbying, propaganda and selling one sided political narratives…..the last straw is their coverage, support, narrative and lack of condemnation for a country that is clearly an apartheid state intent on genocide….
Legacy App was better as one could use the Economist for best use of time having a weekly review of what has globally happened and can have easy access to the previous issues. There is no point of trying to position the Economist as a daily news house where it is already a dark red ocean!
To me personally TE is the main source of news and analysis, I am in the line with their approach in viewing the world .( Objectivize issues )
No other magazine can match their quality of reporting and the language their correspondents write. It should be part of curriculum of English courses in every school and college.
There is always an issue with The economist app.. this version doesn’t launch. I did all the typical trouble shooting steps but still doesn’t work
