Focus
Pls focus on politics, economy ,books review and culture related topics, excluding sports, movies and fashion etc., which are not your expertise. I have been reading economist for more than 30yrs, I like her focus and deep expertise.

The service is excellent
The red check after reading issue is still not resolved
It seems that the red checker will not shown unless I havr scrolled down all the way to show the "related" articles instead of just at the end of the article (the red square). Plz help with solving this issue. Thanks
Possible technical error detected
Since the last app update, I’ve noticed that while reading the stories, when I highlight and look up the words the background will always lag and not function smoothly, and this problem will disappear if I turn off the dictionary from the “look up”.
I can't find any option to adjust font size.
After upgrading the app, the font size has become too small for me to read, and I can't find any option to adjust it.
The app is laggy
Been using this app for several months, but lately it starts to feel laggy and unresponsive. I have to tap an article several times to open it. What’s wrong with it? My phone is iPhone 14, so I’m ruling out aging

The audio news won’t play the next track automatically and pauses after every news ends The overall app is extremely laggy and the interface is very slow to response Makes me want to unsubscribe
Great content but need more work
I’ve been listening and reading every economist magazine for about 10 years. I love the content, but the app needs a bit more work: 1. Speed of the voice contributors should be the same so I don’t have to adjust listening speed for some tracks and then adjust back. The high pitched gal speaks especially fast. The speed adjustment button is also laggy and this process slow. I can’t get from 2X to 1.5x in 2 clicks. 2. Volume of the speakers should be roughly the same though this is less time consuming to fix. But overall volume output should be higher. My Spotify volume is great when I turn it up at like 20-25%. But with the economist I gotta do at least 50% to start. 3. Very importantly, the rewind 15/20 sec button should be on Home Screen so when I’m driving I can just click phone screen to rewind a bit, instead of going into app to rewind. Listening while driving has been very crucial and productive for me but it needs to be safer also. Thanks love you lots!!! My goal is to go to your London office and take a picture to become my permanent Facebook profile picture! 🤓
