Only US focussed not international
Cannot pay premium economy with credit card. System only assumes American states, US as selectable country etc
Twice entering
Had to enter twice info and scan passport
International info
Please take into account. In some cases you need to choose the state, but only USA states appear. Then an international address cannot be entered.
Modernise the app
The app is functional, but can use lots of improvements. The interface is quite dated and it’s not very intuitive to use. United should take a look at what other Star Alliance members are doing; TAP Portugal has a great app!
Bad user expérience
Too many back and forth when checking in. The whole Ui is just a big mess.
Not possible to upgrade using miles
You’re « welcoming » Miles and More members on board but there is no way to upgrade flights. That’s a bad loyalty program! :-( no such issues with Delta and Flying Blue!!
Issue with seat assignment
Travelling with family of four but my wife’s seats have been de-allocated
Useful and cool
App was pretty useful when flying to San Francisco. It’s also convenient during the flight as we can use it for in flight entertainment. The new flight simulator is pretty cool (but a bit hidden in the settings), definitely give it a try !
