Useless for non-U.S. residents
It won't let you book through the app if you don't have a U.S. billing address. Many other international airlines will, so there's no excuse for this.

Does not accept international credit cards
We are from overseas and wanted to pay for extra baggage charges on the United app. It only allowed for credit cards issued in the United States.
Passport scan :a failure of the app
You can't online check in. The scanner of the app, powered by Junio -CANNOT SCAN! Waste of precious time. I tried 6 times but to no avail. United app is not friendly at all! Try harder United:(
Bad app, bad service
App frequently crashes, bad app and bad service.
Extremely bad service
Their sensors for scanning the travel documents are inconsistent and take forever to scan. I tried calling the hotline but no one was answering. You guys should've designed the app such that there is a capture button so that customers don't have to wait to be able to capture their documents. Iv been trying to scan all 4 passports of my family members for the last 40 minutes but to no avail. I ended up not being able to secure boarding passes online and you greatly wasted my time.
