Sonos

The redesign made the app terrible. It’s really hard to get anything done even after several tries. Super non logical. It all works but getting there is like traveling 10x more than needed.

After upgrading to newer version of the app everything became unstable. Random speakers disconnecting from the app. Cant reset and successfully add speakers to the system. Speakers cant find or wont connect to wifi. Complete waste of money as of now. App is working very slow. Have beam, sub, 3 one sl, one and era 100.

The new app versio.mn is supper non-responsive. You need to wait like 5 seconds after every button click in the app. This is terrible

Nothing works in this ecosystem anymore. Really, it deserves a lawsuit, and I have maybe ten speakers now. Constant upgrades, updates, (re)authorisations… I just spent maybe full two hours getting my surrounds play ball with Arc. Can’t be bothered Apple Music doesn’t play from within the app, will stream via Airplay, but TuneIn doesn’t work either. What a disaster this whole Sonos has become… Ps. And the app drains battery even if left in the background with no music playing and background refresh disabled. This is laughable, simply laughable. I am speechless.

You have ruined the whole experience.

If you'd like to find out how to spoil perfectly designed and working application, it's enough to compare previous version and the present version of Sonos application. Completely not user-friendly and difficult to operate in many many aspects

Once connected and playing it is working smoothly. Usually I need to skip to a next song sometimes open Sonos app or restart Airplay connection when the above does not help. The problem is Ive switched to latest iPhone, modern router standing 1 meter next to speakers and my phone, moreover fiber high speed from ISP and it still stutters when starting = no sound at beginning, while music is displayed as playing. No improvement on iP15 vs iP8 and against older Sonos app. It happens so often that I will consider other sound system with next purchases. The same problem happens with AirPlay music through Yamaha amplifier at my friend. On top of that Ive heard in news that in the latest terms of use Sonos started selling our most valuable resource in the world - personal information. Audio quality is good, design is great, but selling user’s private data is no go for me.

Nie wiem po co wypuszczacie na rynek niedopracowaną aplikację, która psuje wrażenie jakie miałem zawsze obsługując Sonosa. Aplikacja przestała być intuicyjna. Wszystkiego się szuka jak w Adroidzie, nie jest juz jak IOS. Poza tym zawiera błedy, klikajac start nie wiem czy muzyka sie juz właczyla czy nie, bo nie zmienia sie ikona na ikone pauzy.

I can’t play any Polish radio like I could before.. this problem is since 4 months and I’ not happy at all !! Another problem is that sometimes music from apple music or spotify is stopping withouth the reason. I was a happt customer for the last 9 years but now this is justa joke

The newest terms of service got line saying „Sonos would not sell our data” removed. I will not buy Sonos again and I will inform my friends about this.
