Ive tried a lot of programs—personalized coaching, Crossfit style, bodybuilding style. Ive found that SL 5x5 is the sweet spot in terms of results and time spent in the gym. I got a full time job and I cant spent hours on the gym. I got the SL app, follow the program. No more thinking. No more trying what movements I did last time and how much weight I did. Why do I trust SL so much? Ive trained under coaches with sports science degrees before and their advice basically boiled down to do heavy compound lifts. Exactly what SL 5x5 makes you do. Been using this since 2019. If I had the money I would def upgrade but the free version is worth the download nonetheless
App is very helpful especially the free version would like to see more options in the future
The methodology of training is easy to understand and constantly challenging. The app also stops me from scrolling Instagram during rest intervals.
If you are constantly wondering what to do in the gym and have been through a bunch of different routines, this one will be a real game changer. It is simple at the start but gets quite hard in short order. You owe it to yourself to see just what your body is capable of and this App will help take you there. My only caveat though is that if you are trying to lose weight, this routine/app is not the way to do it. Get your food portions to manageable levels, lost the weight first, then use this app. The exercises will inspire a natural hunger which will help you put on muscle but it does nothing for people who are obese and need to stay on a diet.
I hated the gym, until I found 5x5 strong lifts. I really credit this app for getting me back into fitness. Its so dead simple and easy, beginners will never fee daunted to try. After a few weeks you would notice your progression and how you are getting stronger! If only the admin would finally approve me on the 5x5 facebook group that would make this perfect but I’d give this 5 stars anyway.
I have already purchased the Annual but I can’t seem to access the Pro features. It says “Pro features unlocked” but I can’t still access it. Please help.
