If you’re planning on working on it
Don’t. Inherently inferior compared to the web version, it’s almost like the web vs app versions aren’t even of the same thing. Especially if you rely on macros for quick efficient responses - forget wanting to see a preview of what you’re about to send. Have fun responding to clients completely blind without the ability to edit prior!!
Only one thing missing, and it’s a big one…
There is no dark mode option available on iOS. :-(
Fraudulent business practices - watch out!
I’ve never had such a bad service.
You can’t cancel by email.
You can’t reach anyone by phone.
The cancelation process online doesn’t work out. They keep charging your credit card.
We’re working with the credit card company on their fraudulent behavior. They just want to cash. For a software service company, this is the worst practice for customers.
Just stay away of their service!
Basic bugs keep making the app almost unusable
It doesn’t seem like this app gets the testing or R&D that it needs. I’ve followed up with Zendesk support about multiple bugs that make it difficult to use the app’s (pretty basic) feature set, and it’s hard to get them acknowledged, let alone fixed.
Notifications don’t clear - only solution is to reinstall and it’s not a permanent fix
The notifications for the app do not clear, the help forum is useless and a permanent fix doesn’t seem to have been applied since last year.
App is terrible
This app constantly has bugs and doesn’t allow you to sign in with google SSO.
This app used to work but recently has received poor support/patches. Im using up to date and older ipads/iphones but cant get anywhere.
I hope your company uses something else.
It works well but…
Not nearly as good as the web version. It lacks convenience, functionality and dark mode.
It’s possible to change ticket status and reassign them, but through the “Edit” button. I discovered how by trying different things in the app..
Bug at Log-in
Couldn't log consistently for a month straight. Then tried integrating HubSpot and experienced a bug there as well.
I put in effort..they didn't, except on the sales front.
Ironically, this is a support software.
Desktop is marvellous, mobile app sucks
I love Zendesk on my desktop computer and laptop! But on my phone it is a nightmare to deal with. Everything feels so much more disorganized and out of order compared to the desktop version. Needs a better user-interface.
User Interface wasn’t immediately intuitive
I finally figured out how to access some features I thought were missing from the mobile interface I’m used to with the web UI. One thing that was confusing was how to find open tickets assigned to me - they’re actually sorted by status under “my unsolved tickets.” Once I discovered that and reversed the order to put newer ticket at the top, my open (new) tickets are easy to find. Also finally figured out how to Cc other teammates. My initial experience with the app was marred by seemingly unavailable options. This would suggest there is room for improvement in the UI.
