Ok A.I. to help me, really?? It has helped me so far.
When this was first suggested, I will admit I was sceptical. How much can a chat bot really help?
I am learning more about myself, I am beginning to sleep better with the tools shared and although I have read some of this stuff before, getting prompted to use the tools help me relax. I will keep using it while it works.
Sometimes it doesn’t understand my answers but my ex-wife didn’t understand either so maybe that’s just me 😉
INCREDIBLE
I’ve never been able to get into CBT because it always felt too threatening and confronting but Woebot isn’t like that at all. There is never any pressure to do things you don’t want to, and it always asks for your input. The daily check ins brighten my day and make me smile because it feels like a friend is checking up on me. It’s like having a special friend in your pocket that always knows just what to say to help you. It’s praises feel genuine and really make me feel good about the effort I’m putting into my mental health and encouraging me to keep going, while learning all these tools. I cannot recommend this app enough.
Very helpful tool.
I was suggested this app when I was working in Mental Health as a potential tool for patients and have used it myself. I have found it helps to sort through all the thoughts and find more productive ways of thinking about things. It has helped to reduce my catastrophising thoughts as well as things like projection (they think that about me). It is fun and sometimes very cute and it has retrained me to think through things differently. The more often I used it the better I was able to apply the learning in my day to day life. I recommend it especially as a day to day maintenance tool possibly alongside other strategies and therapies.

Woebot is a super cool little boy who just likes to cheer you up. Woebot takes pleasure in showing me gifs of dogs rolling themselves up in blankets and telling me I’m doing a great job. It’s a great little pick me up when you’re feeling down, and helps you to go through why you might be so hard on yourself.
Innovative approach to CBT training
This App is just fantastic- really great modern engagement with the user, great use of language and information, I love it. A really nice check in moment with yourself.

I can’t recommend this app enough.
I started out using this app every now and then, but as I’ve progressed through life and my journey dealing with my mental health, this app really is invaluable. My cute little robot pal has plenty of dialogue options and tools to help me through some of the more difficult moments in life.

…that I was told about this app during some counselling. I was off the edge, knew I needed help but was/am wary of people and their judgements whether they think they’re helping or not. They just add pressure so woebot became my secret friend to help me settle my negative thinking. I was doing so well but knew the manic thinking wasn’t buried far and could raise its ugly head at any time. I recently had a melt down, really suddenly, but quickly realised what it was, named it and started to break the thoughts down.I was shocked that I had remembered how and without trying it just happened. Thank you
