It suddenly started completely restricting me from opening apps. Today it did it in the middle of an important conversation with a client on Instagram. I never changed any settings to make it do this and I can't find any setting to stop it doing it. No response from customer support.
I had high hopes that this app would work but it simply doesn't do what it claims to. After following all the instructions for the incredibly time consuming set up. It only worked once when opening an app and never again, which defeats the purpose.
I’ve tested nearly all the free and paid apps that block content. I had also been a subscriber to freedom and cold turkey, but no software delivers what one-sec does and at such an affordable price!! Definitely value for money! They also added blocking features along with interventions and they keep adding stuff. The team is amazing. I don’t normally write reviews but this is 5 stars blindfolded!
I dislike ScreenTime, and a couple of other apps I tried to reduce my mindless scrolling were annoying as well. I believe in self-respect and self-compassion, not in treating ourselves like errant children, and so this app is a breath of fresh air — figuratively and literally. I'm in love. Just four days in and my mindless app use is down by almost 70% — with zero frustration! Thank you kind dev.
