Beware that according to kiwi policies, additional services including extra luggages are not refundable if your flight gets cancelled

Simply an application that requires fee for extra coverage which is absolutely ridiculous and limited, as it does not cover segments/missed routes due to extreme delay of one of the airlines involved in the trip. If you miss a flight due to a major airline delay on one of the routes, you will probably not receive any refund as Kiwi will make the following excuse: “we adhere to the airline’s policies and respect their decisions, as we do not have control over their policies and choices.” All this after a series of messages generated automatically for two weeks asking you to be patient and wait for the review of their finance team. Flight has been canceled. Impossible to contact support to get refund!!!

Airlines changed my flights and after communication with the airlines i managed to change the flights back. Kiwi’s “customer support” declined to change the booking on their side as to follow their so called protocols even though the airlines told me they cant issue new bookings without kiwis approval and to speak with them. After numerous attempts to make them understand my issue they told me they cant do nothing for me as i chose their cheapest option. Honestly to be this bad in this industry is laughable. Additionally they messed up the boarding passes that they took upon them to provide and made me 100 years older on the boarding pass and of another ethnicity. KEEP AWAY FROM KIWI

Had issues with the kiwi, but they contacted me and compensated my extra expenses. Good job!

I’ve paid for seats selection and got random seats for me and my wife. My birthday date had been written with mistake in 1 of 3 boarding passes, that I received from kiwi. Useless support can’t fix any of these problems. This 5-15% lower price than on official airline site is not worth it, considering all possible problems caused by unprofessional kiwi workers. Uninstalled.

We booked return flights from Larnaca to Cairo for July 2022 at a cost of 330 euros for 26 and 30 July 2022. On 28 Jun 2022 KIWI informed us that the flight was cancelled and they would refund us within three months. No refund has been made and on checking the KIWI App this morning I see they have closed the conversation as RESOLVED. How can it be resolved when they have kept my money for a service they never provided. I believe the airline refunded my fare to KIWI within seven days of the cancelation and KIWI appear to have stolen it. I have used KIWI to book flights for fiends in the past without any issues but since this incident I refuse to book for them as KIWI are quite clearly a dishonest bunch of scammers and I wish I had done my homework and checked their reviews before sending them my money. One thing for sure, they won't be getting any more bookings from us or everyone else who I speak to on this matter. KIWI.com....... thanks for nothing! Our booking number was 239 670 574

App is okay, easy to use. However, be careful when buying a ticket, try to include luggage in it from the start. I didn’t know if I’d have to take any with me, but eventually I had to purchase an additional one. From the start the price was 43€, after I bought the ticket it raised up to 67€! But in the end I got charged 97€ for 20kg. They simply made 50€ on me for nothing. Be careful, ur money aren’t refundable, they don’t care

It has too many bugs. I booked 3 tickets and wanted to book the return tickets but it wouldn’t let the payment go through. I tried with different card and about 100 times and it still didn’t work. I managed eventually to do it on a browser and not the app. It was very frustrating and stressful.

The commission they charge for each ticket is extremely high from the original price of the flight company. Also, if you get lucky and finally received your refund, they will transfer it in 7 days automatically to your kiwi account without any possibility to return your own money to your bank account. I was waiting for my refund for more than one year.
