Kiwi.com - Book Cheap Flights

I booked 2 flights. I ended up with 2 tickets in one direction for some reason and I suspect I don’t have tickets for my second flight. No one was available to help with anything either. Luckily the airline was super helpful with everything, but not all airlines are like that

They booked me an itinerary with an illegal connection time and i missed my flight and they claimed its not their fault. Avoid them

Kiwi.com is refusing to pay a refund for a flight cancelled by the flight carrier. They cant be contacted by email, only by their chat support function from the app. They keep insisting I obtain proof of cancellation from the carrier, as well as proof of refund. I have provided them with refund payment references from the carrier which they are refusing as evidence. As they are the contracting party, the carrier cant provide me with all the information they require. Kiwi.com is refusing to assist by arranging a meeting between myself, Kiwi and the carrier. The carrier advised that Kiwi just booked with them via their website and do not have a professional relationship with them. Many people have reported these practices by Kiwi.Com on social media.

I booked a return trip from Johannesburg to Durban on the 30th of May 2022, well in advance of the actual trip. The trip consisted of two flights with different carriers, namely SAA and Kulula Airways. However, at the beginning of June, all Kulula flights were grounded and the firm was subsequently liquidated( began the process on the 14th of June), which was just about two weeks before my departing flight. Leading up to the trip, the only update I received from the firm is that the time of my departing flight with SAA has changed by 15 minutes. I eventually sent a query using their online messaging system a couple of days before the flight asking for an update. The system did not allow me to cancel the Kulula flight, the only option was to cancel the whole trip. In fear of not being able to afford to purchase an additional ticket as I had received no communication from the company. I was then told by a Club Travel agent(my departing flight was booked under the company) that only Kiwi can process my request so I was given an email address that apparently is under the firm. Note that I say apparently as I still have not received a response from this address however the email still went through. I was only "blessed" with a response a day after the return flight was supposed to take place. however, the wait for a response proved to be useless as I was simply informed that they are "sorry for the late response" and that it was somehow still possible to board a flight from an airline carrier whose planes had been grounded. As it stands, it has been 7 days since I sent my reply, which has not been dignified with a response. I do however doubt I will receive a response as they already have what they want from me, my money as opposed to providing a service in exchange for it. I really wish I did my due diligence on this company as I see that I am by far not the only one who has been a victim of this firm's unyielding thirst to extract as much as possible from their consumers without returning anything close to that.

Worst booking Service. Will get no Help form them when its needed and you will not get your money back after booking. Been trying to get help for Days now and still they do not answer or provide help with my booking. I believe its a scam!!!

Terrible service. No help when I needed to cancel my flight due to COVID-19. Difficulty contacting them and virtually no guidance throughout the process

They double booked me and never refunded me. I even contacted them about the double booking immediately money left my account. They’re are crooks!

Shocking response rate and appalling customer service!

I had booked a flight and wanted to cancel, requested a refund and still the flight has been on the site as confirmed! What does that mean! When I try to cancel again the site says I requested for a refund yet you still remind me that I have a flight waiting for me! I hope I do get my money back!!!

On full insurance package I was unable to move and get flights refunded. Cant get through to an agent. Just automated answering machines. When you eventually get through to someone they refuse to assist. Qatar airlines willing to refund Kiwi but Kiwi refuses to refund me. At the start if my trip they even forgot to book one of the flights in my itinerary and I has to wait on the airport for 6 hours to get another flight. Will NEVER book with Kiwi again and will NEVER recommend anyone to book with them either.
