It is indeed a little complicated and does not make it easy for a customer to get what he wants. Need to work on making it easier. I traveled with BA twice and both the times there were issue. Still pending an update on my case. Its been over a week now.
crashing not opening not helpful when you need it the most updates slow
British airways has very poor and unhelpful staff. Once a flight is cancelled or delayed they will ask everyone to stand for hours in queue. The staff is totally unaware of what they need to do. They are very rude and will not help or support in finding your luggage. The baggage is always lost and delayed. I had a fractured bone in spine and I asked for medical assistance and wheelchair, they asked to stand in the queue and reach the counter and then ask them to provide the support. Literally the worst airlines, the food quality is very poor and the inflight food service is also delayed always. They will charge you way higher than any other airlines and will provide you 1/10 of support and quality of services. I will not recommend anyone to book this airline, don’t get trapped in their marketing strategy, they just sell and not support once you are stuck anywhere. My flight was rescheduled for 2 days later and I got hotel only for 1 day and next day they asked me to rebook again on my own and apply for reimbursement and they pay after 30-60 days. Very disappointed with BA and will not book any more future trips with them.
I have been travelling with Emirates , etihad, vistara. British Airways charge way to much as compared to the other airlines and when it comes to service its not even 10% close to them . Cheap quality seats , old aged entertainment setup , squeezy leg rooms , forget about the meals .
Worst application and far more worst site. Nothing works , seat selection, seat change and anything which a customer needs. Takes 5 different attempts to get basic things to work

I think BA should learn a few things from other carriers. The United airlines app is way better and intuitive. My bookings never show up on BA, when I try to add it gives me an error almost every time. When I log in, uses my Face ID then makes me input my BA details again. This app is way behind its time.

This app was really good until recently but now it is unable to show upcoming bookings and asks to go the Manage my bookings.
