There is scientific evidence that people with depressive disorders often intellectually know that we were happy in the past, but we have trouble remembering concrete examples & remembering what we did to feel better during bad times. I’ve never been able to maintain a journaling habit, but this app has been perfect for me. And what has shocked me is how often I’ve been happy! When I look back at the last 202 days of entries, I see far more positive emotions than I would expect! I’ve recommended this app to friends, both my parents, a guy while we were waiting to cross the street, my doctor (who is now recommending it to her patients), and countless waiters and baristas. It has changed my life. I do have a few suggestions though: 1) It would be nice to be able to add custom emotions 2) On the page with all of the emotions, I'd like to sort them by theme. For example, if I'm looking through the yellows and I see amazed, but the description doesn't quite fit, I'd like to see similar emotions to find the one I'm looking for (like on the main page) instead of having to go through all of the yellows. 3) As a data nerd, I'd really like to be able to download my data as a CSV file and not just a PDF, although the PDDs are gorgeous & I do download them. Anyway, if you're still reading, this app is amazing & has changed my life. You should definitely download it! And if anyone from the HWF team sees this & you're looking for users to be involved in future development, please contact me. I would absolutely love to be involved. ❤️

I really enjoy this app. It allows you to have time with your emotions that you don’t always want to share. You can journal away on this app! Very well designed. 😃🙌🏽
My therapist told me about this app! It is a simple way to document your feelings. It does not take a lot of time, and surprisingly, it is completely free! It has an extraordinary amount of feelings to choose from. This helps me with knowing what I am feeling, as well as expanding my vocabulary of feeling words. I especially like that I can add a journal entry if I want to, and there is no limitation to words. At least not that I found so far, and I can get long-winded! The final thing I will mention is that I like that I can document where and what I am doing at the time I am feeling those feelings. I can use their prompts or add my own. I would recommend this app if you struggle with or just want to document your feelings as quickly or as detailed as you like.
