Kiwi will politely tell you to pound sand and take your money. I had a flight booked, but cancelled it under 24 hours of booking, WestJet confirmed they refunded kiwi and kiwi will not give me my money back. They are thieves. Time to lawyer up.
I booked a round trip from Toronto to Vancouver. One of my flight got cancelled from airline. I asked them about my refund and they said “they have provided me for all eligible refund and you are not eligible for any voluntary refund “ and when i asked for details about my they said “ we are processing your refund and it’s gonna take 90 days to process “ Its been already 4 months my flight got cancelled Beaware of these scammers
Somethings go wrong and they won’t help. “Company policy” that’s a no thank you for helping people get to their destination.
I was making a reservation for 2 flights and tried to redeem a code that I got for subscribing to their newsletter, and applied the discount and when I clicked on pay, it would tell me that the bank declined the purchase. I called the bank and nothing wrong. I tried several times but when I removed the promo code what a surprise, I could make the reservation, even when it said it was the bank’s fault. Liars. It seems that this Company lures you with fake promo codes.
Really bad company that doesn’t honor its commitments
Kiwi had the lowest price for my flight, their website has good UI, they did the check in for us and had the seats together even though no extra price was paid, SMS updates for 5 bucks
This app is terrible, if your flight gets delayed or you change it, or you as another email to ir they don’t allow you to speak with them only their stupid chat bot that says nothing but nonsense. Don’t use this service, it’s terrible. Or if you, don’t change anything as they won’t even speak with you afterwards. So stupid.
Last July, we booked a flight in advance for September from Barcelona to Tokyo with a layover in Shenzhen. The day before our departure, a typhoon was near Shenzhen, causing a few hours' DELAY to our flight. Then, Kiwi.com canceled all our flights, including the return ones, without informing us. And without our consent. When we arrived at the airport check-in, the staff informed us that our tickets had been canceled by Kiwi.com. We contacted Kiwi.com, and they confirmed the cancellation, and that they did it without notifying us. They offered us alternative flights, all costing over €1800, while our original tickets were approximately €600. We eventually booked another flight independently and arrived in Japan. To get our money back from Kiwi.com, it took more than seven months, despite our weekly reminders. They repeatedly claimed they were waiting for the airline to refund them. However, a month after the incident, we called the airline directly and learned that they had already sent the refund to Kiwi.com. This means Kiwi.com held our money for six months before finally returning it to us.
